1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScorePick ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

ScorePick is a prediction platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ScorePick. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You will maintain the security of your account credentials

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Provide false or misleading information
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse or harass other users

4. Service Description

4.1 Prediction Platform

ScorePick allows users to:

• Create and join prediction leagues
• Predict match scores for FIFA World Cup 2026
• Compete on leaderboards with other users
• Participate in mini-games (Pro and Premium tiers only)

4.2 Not a Gambling Service

ScorePick is a skill-based prediction game for entertainment purposes only. It is not gambling. Users cannot win money or prizes based on predictions. League upgrades are one-time fees for additional features, not wagers.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 League Tiers

ScorePick offers three league tiers:

• Free: $0 — up to 5 members
• Pro: one-time payment — up to 25 members, mini-games, extended stats
• Ultra: one-time payment — up to 250 members, all features, best for clubs & office pools

Current per-tournament pricing is shown on the pricing page and varies by region and currency.

5.2 Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All fees are in USD unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the tournament has not yet started. After the tournament begins or after 7 days, all sales are final. To request a refund, email support@scorepick.com.

5.4 No Recurring Charges

League upgrades are one-time payments per tournament. There are no subscription fees or automatic renewals.

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Scrape, mine, or harvest data from the Service
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the Service
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ScorePick, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of ScorePick or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without express written permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of ScorePick is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We comply with GDPR and other data protection regulations. You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a machine-readable format

9. Disclaimers

9.1 No Warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9.2 Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services (Stripe for payments, Football API for match data). We are not responsible for any failure or disruption of these services.

9.3 Accuracy of Data

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the accuracy of match scores, statistics, or other data provided through the Service. Errors may occur.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScorePick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScorePick, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.
